Kick off holidays with movie fun
THE long summer holidays have started and Mareeba’s Rising Sun Cinema has a feast of great entertainment over the next six weeks. The fun kicks off with a new family release this weekend. Trolls, from the same people who gave you the Shrek universe, hits the Mareeba big screen at the same time as the rest of the country. With a G rating, it is fabulous entertainment for the whole family. The sci fi alien fantasy Arrival continues for a second great week A very special event is on this weekend with sneak previews of the upcoming colourful Disney animation Moana, which is due for a nationwide Boxing Day release, so why not see it first before everyone else. Moana previews at normal prices are on Saturday and Sunday — this movie is projected to be the biggest family blockbuster of these holidays.
