Alleged stabbing in Mt Carbine
A 57-year-old local man who allegedly attempted to stab a victim at Mount Carbine has been remanded in custody.
It is alleged that Concetto Anthony Tati attended an address on Mount Spurgeon Road and after verbally abusing the residents, he pushed the victim over causing him to break his elbow.
It will further be alleged that he attempted to stab the victim in the chest but instead slashed his hand, causing a 3-4 cm cut.
Tati appeared in the Mareeba Magistrates Court on Monday charged with unlawfully wound another and enter dwelling with intent.
He was remanded in custody and will reappear via video link from Lotus Glen on January 23.
