FINED FOR DRUG USE AND PUBLIC NUISANCE
On July 7 Adam Armenti was pulled over on Herberton Street in Mareeba by police and was subjected to a roadside drug test. The test returned a positive reading. In July he was charged with one offence of public nuisance. While appearing in the Mareeba Magistrates court on Monday, Armenti pleaded guilty to charges and told the court he shouldn’t have done it. Magistrate Tom Braes told Armenti he should be ashamed of his behaviour and hopefully this had been a wake-up call for him. He was fined $600 for drug use and was disqualified from holding or obtaining a licence for one month.
