Cameron Hills pleaded guilty in Ma­reeba court to four charges on Mon­day. On Au­gust 4 at 6.45am Hills forcibly took a phone off a fe­male ag­grieved dur­ing an ar­gu­ment. It was said in court that he scrolled though the phone af­ter grab­bing the phone off the fe­male and found that there were a num­ber of mes­sages, videos and pho­tos that the ag­grieved had shared with other men. Dur­ing an ar­gu­ment the ag­grieved was drink­ing an iced cof­fee and Hills took the bot­tle off her and threw the con­tents at her. When po­lice searched the house, 276 grams of mar­i­juana was found in a safe that Hill ad­mit­ted to grow­ing and smok­ing. Hills also ad­mit­ted to grab­bing the phone off the ag­grieved and be­com­ing an­gry af­ter find­ing videos and pho­tos of sex­ual acts she had com­mit­ted with other men. Hills was charged with two counts of con­tra­ven­tion of do­mes­tic vi­o­lence order, one count of pos­ses­sion of uten­sils or pipes that had been used and one count of pos­sess­ing dan­ger­ous drugs. He was fined $2000 and was given a 12 month pro­ba­tion order and is ex­pected to par­tic­i­pate in coun­selling.
