DRUG AND BREACH CHARGES
Cameron Hills pleaded guilty in Mareeba court to four charges on Monday. On August 4 at 6.45am Hills forcibly took a phone off a female aggrieved during an argument. It was said in court that he scrolled though the phone after grabbing the phone off the female and found that there were a number of messages, videos and photos that the aggrieved had shared with other men. During an argument the aggrieved was drinking an iced coffee and Hills took the bottle off her and threw the contents at her. When police searched the house, 276 grams of marijuana was found in a safe that Hill admitted to growing and smoking. Hills also admitted to grabbing the phone off the aggrieved and becoming angry after finding videos and photos of sexual acts she had committed with other men. Hills was charged with two counts of contravention of domestic violence order, one count of possession of utensils or pipes that had been used and one count of possessing dangerous drugs. He was fined $2000 and was given a 12 month probation order and is expected to participate in counselling.
