Cairns resident Zoe Murray pleaded guilty to three charges in Mareeba Magistrates Court on Monday. The 24-year-old was charged with one count of unlawful use of a motor vehicle on August 22, one count of possessing dangerous drugs on September 15 and one count of possessing utensils or pipes that had been used on September 15. The court heard that she had fallen into a “Bonnie and Clyde” situation with Mr Anthony Phillip Beck who also appeared in court in Mareeba on Monday and was arrested at the same time as Murray. She received a probation order for 12 months. Magistrate Kevin Priestly explained to Murray that if another offence is committed while on probation she will be recharged for the three offences.
