OBSTACLES and a bit of colour didn’t stop Biboohra State School from celebrating the end of term 3 last week.

The school’s P&C came up with an idea to host a colour fun run for students.

However, students were required to fundraise money for the event and raised a total of $3000.

Principal David King said the kids really enjoyed the afternoon crawling through tunnels, walking on planks and skipping through a row of people throwing colour at students.

“Today is about the kids enjoying school and coming together as a community,” he said.

“P&C said they wanted a fundraiser that was fun for the kids and they did a great job.”

Once every student present at the school finished their run, students had the chance to get back at Mr King by throwing their own coloured powder at him.
