Teach­ers get thanks for work

BI­BOOHRA State School teach­ers re­ceived recog­ni­tion for their hard work from appe­cia­tive stu­dents for World Teach­ers’ Day Oc­to­ber, 27.

Stu­dents showed their teach­ers how much they hon­oured their ded­i­ca­tion and val­ued all their ef­fort with thank you cards and lit­tle gifts.

Bi­boohra State School act­ing prin­ci­pal Ruth Ernst ar­ranged a mas­sage for the teach­ers re­lax­ation and as a spe­cial thanks.

“We gave the teach­ers 15 min­utes of re­lax­ation with a mas­sage, scented can­dles and re­lax­ing mu­sic to help them un­wind,” she said.

“It was a nice way to just say thank you for all their hard work.”

Ms Ernst ex­plained to stu­dents the tire­less ef­forts their teach­ers put in ev­ery day to make sure they were achiev­ing to their full po­ten­tial.

“Make sure you give them a big smile and a thank you,” she said.
