State of the art health facility
RESIDENTS in the Dimbulah area can look forward to receving better care at the town’s new Primary Health Clinic.
The new building was advocated for by the community and has now become a reality after it was officially opened on Wednesday. The construction of the new $4.3 million facility will give patients more “privacy” and better comfort including onsite car parking at the centre. The old facility was built in 1965 and has since been demolished to make room for car parking.

Dimbulah director of nursing Glenda Fabris has been with the project since the beginning and said she was excited about the improvements which had already allowed for better health care in the community.
“This project is the culmination of almost two years planning and preparation,” she said. Continued page 9
