TABLELAND COMPANY OF ARCHERS
: There was no coaching conducted on Sunday last for the Tableland Company of Archers instead they held their Annual Presentations and BBQ. Some of the members also enjoyed a fun shoot, shooting balloons and “William Tell”. Results: Overall Champion Compound Shield 2017 winner: Robert Hodgetts Replica Shield for 2016 winner: Ben McDowell 2017 Overall Champion Recurve Shield winner: was Neil Prince, with Neil Prince receiving the Replica Shield for 2016. Most Improved archer for 2017: Robert Hodgetts Senior Encouragement award: went to Moht Moht Swe and Junior Encouragement award went to Angus Hodgetts. These two relatively new archers have shown determination and much improvement this year. : Individual 1st, 2nd and 3rd places won monetary prizes for their divisions. The annual championships are decided during the year. Each archer will shoot 3 club championship rounds each for Target, Field, Indoor and Clout. Any two out of each round will be counted for club championships. Individual archers have received 6 gold badges during the year for different rounds and face sizes. Some archers have received club records for their scores. Next Sunday: December 3 coaching will only be conducted if beginners contact George first.
