Applications open to be part of Agfest
EXHIBITOR applications for next year’s Agfest in May are now open.
Agfest chairman Owen Woolley said research had revealed more than $26 million was spent by patrons during the annual three-day rural showcase event.
“After the success of Agfest 2017 we are undertaking significant upgrades to the site to improve the exhibitor and patron experience,” he said.
“If you have thought about exhibiting but never got around to it, now is the time to do it,”
Mr Woolley said the Quercus Park site at Carrick in the state’s North had never looked better.
Exhibitor manager Ethan Williams said it was important businesses submit completed applications before the closing date to ensure being included in the selection process.
“Although we want to have an agricultural focus, we cater for many types of businesses in industry-grouped areas such as the Equine Expo, the craft pavilions and the Unique Taste pavilion,” Mr Williams said.
Applications close December 1. For more details visit www.agfest.com.au.
