Market cooler for all lambs
LAMB prices eased across the yarding as a steady number was offered at Roberts’ Quoiba sale on Monday.
New season’s lambs topped the sale at $165 each while old season’s lambs reached a top of at $148 for good heavy lambs.
New season’s lambs sold from $123 to $165 per head.
Heavyweight old season’s lambs made from $134 to $148, medium types $129 to $143 and lighter lambs $101 to $130.
Mutton held to recent strong demand and sold from $20 to $77.
A heavier penning of 52 pork was offered. Prices for heavy pork remained unchanged at $220 to $305 each while lightweight pens easier at $145 to $200. were
