Camelford turning out some champions

Tasmanian Country - - MERINOS -

THE Camelford Merino Stud is committed to breeding structurally correct sheep, square well sprung with good fertility, producing a productive fine medium fleece.

Camelford has recently purchased two Yarrawonga Stud sires and has used Yarrawonga Poll Ram 961 in its 2017 AI program.

At the 2017 Campbell Town Show the stud won supreme junior champion wool ram, two commercial fleece classes and the most valuable fleece of the show.

At our recent wether shearing the average price for fleece wool was 1,740 cents per kilogram greasy.

We are trying to breed the most profitable sheep possible.
