Fo­cus on fu­ture of our food

AN event in Ho­bart later this month will look at at where Tas­ma­nia’s food and agri­cul­ture sec­tors are at and where are they head­ing.

The event, or­gan­ised by the Tas­ma­nian In­sti­tute of Agri­cul­ture, cel­e­brates the first na­tional Agri­cul­ture Day on Novem­ber 21.

Lead­ing ex­perts from across the Univer­sity of Tas­ma­nia will weigh in on the fu­ture of the state’s food sec­tor, pro­voked by the au­di­ence.

The event runs from 5pm and in­cludes drinks and re­fresh­ments as well as op­por­tu­ni­ties for net­work­ing.

The fo­rum will be held at the Cen­te­nary Lec­ture The­atre at the univer­sity’s Sandy Bay cam­pus, off Grosvenor St.
