tips & tricks
1 Don’t lift the lid during cooking, because the condensation will run down the sides of the cooker and can create damp spots on the top of your pudding or cake.
2 Be careful not to scrape the inside of the slow-cooker bowl with sharp knives or objects. Use plastic or silicone utensils to remove food.
3 Investing in a large slow cooker is a good idea, so you can feed a crowd or make double batches of food to freeze for later.
