pear chips

As easy as slice and bake, these are a great snack or cheese­board ad­di­tion. - - KNOW HOW -

1 Pre­heat the oven to 120°C/100°C fan forced. Use a sharp knife to thinly slice the pears length­ways.

2 Place the pear slices in a sin­gle layer on lined bak­ing trays. Bake for 11 ⁄ 2 hours, un­til lightly browned.

3 Turn pear and cook for a fur­ther hour or un­til crisp. Cool, then store in an air­tight con­tainer for up to 1 week.
