WHAT’S MORE IMPRESSIVE, THE DEDICATION OR THE TALENT?

17-year-old African teenager Nji Collins Gbah has defied odds and won Google’s annual Code-in competition, and to do so he had to travel 370km to Cameroon’s capital because the government had cut off his hometown’s internet. After two years of learning to code from books and other online sources, Nji beat out more than 1,300 other young contestants from over 60 countries to take home the prestigious award.
