HOURS THE AV­ER­AGE AUS­TRALIAN SPENDS ON THEIR PHONE IN A YEAR.

Re­search by Chi­nese phone man­u­fac­turer Huawei along­side Deci­bel Re­search has found that the av­er­age Aus­tralian spends around 2.5 hours a day on their phone — the equiv­a­lent to a full 38 days every year. 74% of the males that were ques­tioned ad­mit­ted to hav­ing their hand­set on them and read­ily ac­ces­si­ble through­out the en­tire day, while 60% of fe­males kept it handy. What’s more, 1 in 10 ad­mit­ted to whip­ping out their phone dur­ing ‘pri­vate time’ with their part­ner. Is noth­ing sa­cred?
