HOURS THE AVERAGE AUSTRALIAN SPENDS ON THEIR PHONE IN A YEAR.
Research by Chinese phone manufacturer Huawei alongside Decibel Research has found that the average Australian spends around 2.5 hours a day on their phone — the equivalent to a full 38 days every year. 74% of the males that were questioned admitted to having their handset on them and readily accessible throughout the entire day, while 60% of females kept it handy. What’s more, 1 in 10 admitted to whipping out their phone during ‘private time’ with their partner. Is nothing sacred?
