GOOGLE’S MADE IT EASIER TO FIGURE OUT WHAT PRODUCTS ARE COMPATIBLE WITH GOOGLE HOME

A SUPPORT PAGE HAS BEEN SET UP ONLINE TO HELP YOU WITH THAT.

If you own a Google Home (or a Home Mini), finding smarthome devices that can be controlled with Google Assistant can be hard, what with thousands of IoT products available today, and not all of them compatible with Home. To make it easy for customers, Google has set up a support page that lists all the smarthome devices that can be voice-controlled via the “OK, Google” command. The searchable list ( tinyurl.com/tla72-homecontrol) currently has partners listed alphabetically, but a filter box will help you narrow down your search by using keywords. Searching for ‘speaker’ or ‘light’ will give you a list of partner devices, while the ‘Narrow by’ box comes in handy if you know the manufacturer of the device you’re after.
