RECORD VIDEOS AND SHARE RIGHT FROM YOUR BROWSER. Free | www.useloom.com There are tools available to record screens and webcam videos, but hardly any are as easy to use as Loom. It’s a great Chrome plugin if you need to make presentations, submit assignments, advertise your brand or simply use it for personal videos.

Installation is as easy as clicking to download, but you will need to sign up with either your Google account or with Outlook. That done, just click Record to begin. It works on any tab you’re on and you can choose to capture the screen, as well as audio and webcam, or screen only with your narration in the background. And the best part is that the control buttons at the bottom of the screen are visible only to the user and won’t appear in the final video. It’s possible to pause or delete and start from scratch to ensure you’re happy with the final results. That done, the video gets saved to your account and is accessible via a web link. Although Loom is free to install and use, you can only record five-minute videos with limited storage. But refer a few people and, if they sign up, you are automatically upgraded to the premium service with no limitations and no extra charges.
