The Smithsonian American Art Museum has teamed up with Intel and Linden Lab’s Sansar Studio to recreate a selection of larger-than-life instillations form the Burning Man Festival in VR. While it might not be quite the same as seeing the works shimmering in the summer heat of a Nevada desert, the oversized anti-establishment collection will be available to a much wider range of people using an HTC Vive or Oculus Rift headset. No Spectators: The Art of Burning Man, as the exhibition is called, is available through the Sansar VR platform, which you can download for free from the Sansar Studio website.
