Furry UNEXPECTED GUEST
On the day of Marilia Pieroni and Matheus Martins’ wedding, a huge storm meant the outdoor nuptials were relocated to a tent.
Before the ceremony, a stray dog wandered in seeking shelter from the rain.
He was ushered out, but as the wedding march began...
‘To everyone’s surprise, it was the dog who came in!’ Marilia said.
Guests escorted the damp doggy outside again and the loved-up bride and groom exchanged their vows.
That was, until the stray walked down the aisle and had a nap on Marilia’s veil!
Despite the dog being well overdue for a bath, Marilia didn’t begrudge the pup.
‘It was a very pleasant surprise for me, because I love animals,’ she said.
Happy to make room for one more guest, the newlyweds even made their furry friend a plate of food from the buffet.
After their wedding crasher quietly slipped off, the couple searched for over a week to find him. When they did, Marilia and Matheus adopted him, naming him Snoop.
Now he’s a playful and caring addition to their family.
‘We want to make an appeal to people to not buy animals and to adopt them,’ they said.
