Break an egg into a well-greased mi­crowavesafe cup. Pierce the yolk a cou­ple of times with a tooth­pick or skewer. Cover with damp kitchen pa­per. Mi­crowave on low power (30%) for about 1½ to 2 min­utes (we used a

1200 watt mi­crowave), or un­til cooked to your lik­ing. Re­move. Stand in cup for 1 minute be­fore serv­ing, as egg will con­tinue to cook.
