PROFESSIONALS wanting to gain a competitive edge, school leavers deciding on what education pathway is right for them and unemployed people wanting to develop their skills to get back into the workforce can find a range of courses at Kaplan.

Kaplan offers courses to help people achieve their goals through lifelong education through Kaplan Business School and Bradford College in Adelaide as well as Murdoch Institute of Technology in Perth and Kaplan Professional across Australia.

Its higher education and professional training courses are used by hundreds of thousands of individuals each year to help them prepare for careers in a range of industries, including accounting, management, finance and real estate.

Kaplan Business School’s Adelaide campus specialises in higher education for domestic and international students.

It offers a range of degrees and postgraduate qualifications in accounting and business, which present students with the benefits of studying at a prestigious global provider while learning in a supportive environment.

An individual focus gives students all the attention they will want.

Its Diploma of Commerce is designed for high school graduates and mature-age students looking to gain globally-acknowledged credentials in business. The course teaches the fundamental business and management skills needed to gain employment in junior management and other roles across traditional areas of business, such as accounting, banking, marketing and sales.

Once completed, graduates are eligible to apply for credit entry into the second year of Kaplan’s Bachelor of Business degree or an undergraduate degree at another Austra- lian university.

The Master of Professional Accounting is designed for individuals from a non-accounting background with an undergraduate degree who want to work in accounting as well as those who want to advance their career and are already working in accounting in a junior position.

The course provides students with an accountant’s status in just one year and imparts the high-level accounting and management skills needed for a successful career.

Kaplan also offers Australia’s leading applied finance course: Master of Applied Finance.

It is available through a flexible online delivery model and supports students who want to develop extra skills, have a career change or gain a promotion.

The Master of Applied Finance provides students with advanced technical knowledge and skills in a range of financial services areas, an understanding of the factors which influence high-level decision making and the ability to solve complex problems.

The degree is recommended by employers and professionals across the industry. It has been created by senior industry professionals from leading financial institutions.
