WOMENhave to make many sacrifices to achieve career success, a new white paper reveals.

The paper, LongWaytotheTop, authored by Melbourne financial planner Charmaine Curtain, finds Australian women have jumped many hurdles and now hold some of the most powerful positions in the country as politicians and business executives.

But the white paper finds women have had to sacrifice time, money and personal relationships to achieve their career goals.

It includes 69 per cent of women sacrificing an aspect of their personal life to achieve success. About 58 per cent of women say the challenges they face is because of workplace peer pressure.
