Bachelor of Health Sciences University of Adelaide. Duration: Three years (parttime study available) Graduates can find work within university, hospital and pathology laboratories, forensic sciences, pharmaceutical companies, commercial clinical trial laboratories and counselling as well as different government sectors. health-care team or as firstcontact practitioners who treat patients who have not been referred by a doctor.
University of South Australia. Duration: Three years (part-time study available) The degree trains undergraduates to work in the health-care sector with the latest technology and modern Australian and international health-care trends. On graduation they can work in health-care settings ranging from community support centres and hospitals to aged and rehabilitative care facilities, schools and prisons. the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (BMBS). In the first two years, students take subjects in clinical sciences, with either a medical science or health sciences focus, to prepare for the fouryear BMBS component. Graduates can work as anaesthetists, consultant physicians, dermatologists, doctors, general practitioners and surgeons, oncologists, psychiatrists or radiologists.
