HEALTH PROMOTION OFFICER
Health promotion officers work with health and community groups to improve the health and well-being of people. They raise awareness of healthy lifestyles, disease, disability and other health-related issues by providing general advice and information to the public to take home and consider. They also talk in-depth with individual patients and help develop healthy living plans. Officers can be employed at community health clinics, medical centres, hospitals and with organisations dedicated to health issues.
