Seminar on gender law
EMPLOYERS who are confused about their obligations under the new Workplace Gender Equality Act may benefit by attending a seminar run by the YWCA in July.
The new legislation focuses on promoting and improving gender equality in the workplace and means all employers with more than 100 employees outside the public sector must report annually on their progress.
The YWCA, partnered by Leed Consulting, will host the free Gender Equality Matters seminar at the Stamford Plaza Hotel from 9am to 10.30am on July 31.
Attendees will receive practical advice on how to develop and implement a gender equality action plan and learn about the legislation.
