AP­PREN­TICES who have good maths skills are more likely to fin­ish their train­ing and start their ca­reers than those who do not.

In­dus­try groups have an­a­lysed the dif­fer­ences be­tween those who gain their qual­i­fi­ca­tions and those who drop out in or­der to ad­dress low re­ten­tion rates.

The aim is to help ap­pren­tices by in­form­ing them about what to work on to suc­ceed.
