AT A GLANCE

The Advertiser - Motoring - - ROAD TEST -

WHAT IT’S GOT

Six airbags, stability control, seveninch touchscreen, Bluetooth with audio streaming, navigation with SUNA traffic information, digital radio, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, two USB ports, two 12V outlets, 15-inch alloy wheels, heated/folding side mirrors, cruise control, manual aircon, temporary spare.

WHAT IT HASN’T

Automatic emergency braking, blind spot monitor, rear cross traffic alert, lane departure warning, rear aircon vents, seat belt indicators for rear seats.

OWNERSHIP

Servicing costs $2441 over seven years/105,000km, with intervals of 12 months/15,000km.

WHAT WE LIKED

It’s not a tin box. Solidly built, with excellent quality and reliability. Seven-year/unlimited kilometres warranty. Secure handling and comfortable, controlled ride. Spacious, stylish cabin with comfortable seats. Smooth, quiet highway cruising.

WHAT WE DIDN’T

Too expensive. Can struggle in traffic — very little torque and the four-speed auto doesn’t suit it. Slow and not that frugal. Over-assisted, vague steering at highway speeds. Navigation and connectivity didn’t work as they should in the test car.
