Local conversion is at least as well-engineered and assembled as the factory product. Cummins engine delivers unbeatable towing performance, complemented by tow-specific features you don’t get in other vehicles. Spacious cabin, comfortable seats, loads of useful storage, U-Connect works, quality Alpine audio, huge tub, reasonable highway fuel economy and long range from the 117L tank. WHAT WE DIDN’T Ponderous handling that becomes nervous on a rough road. Lumpy, jostling ride. Wooden brakes. No driver assist safety tech. No steering wheel reach adjustment. Don’t take it anywhere near a shopping centre carpark. Short service intervals. Short warranty.
