WHAT IT HASN’T Au­to­matic emer­gency brak­ing, blind spot mon­i­tor­ing, rear cross traf­fic alert, lane de­par­ture warn­ing, full-size spare. OWN­ER­SHIP Ser­vic­ing costs $1255 over four years/60,000km, with in­ter­vals of 12 months/15,000km. Free loan car and 12 months’ state auto club mem­ber­ship at each ser­vice. WHAT WE LIKED One of the bet­ter front-driv­ers in the class, with a punchy, re­fined 1.5-litre turbo, tidy dy­nam­ics and com­pli­ant ride. So­phis­ti­cated, easy to use in­fo­tain­ment with seam­less con­nec­tiv­ity. Great value works­burger safety tech pack op­tion. Com­fort­able driver’s seat. Ex­pan­sive for­ward vi­sion. WHAT WE DIDN’T Looks dated and bor­ing out­side and the dash de­sign is hys­ter­i­cal. Nav­i­ga­tion played up on test. Smaller boot in fiveseater mode and a nar­rower rear seat than most ri­vals. Can feel a bit top-heavy in tight cor­ners. High brake pedal. Hard to reach open tail­gate. Short war­ranty.
