ACENTRAL location, loads of nearby amenities, enough space for the grandchildren and even room for the caravan makes a Kingswood home perfect for downsizers. Vendor Helen Green says the Elphyn Rd home is an ideal fit for empty nesters looking for something a bit smaller once the children have left the family home.

‘‘It’s a lot more than a unit. It’s got a lounge, dining room and family so there are two living areas. It has two double-size bedrooms and it’s got a reasonable backyard,’’ she says.

‘‘It’s got a double garage so if you’ve got a caravan, there is even room for that.’’ Ms Green says the home’s location also is well suited to the demographic.

‘‘It is secluded so you’re not on a busy street and you are adjacent schools, such as Unley High School and Mitcham Primary School,’’ she says.

‘‘You are next to a bus stop and you are two streets away from Mitcham shopping centre.’’

Smallacombe’s Kris Casey, who is selling the property, says the home’s two living areas and reasonable backyard make it suitable for those looking for something a bit smaller that still maintains a sense of space.
