A CUSTOM-BUILT home at Kingswood offers all the conveniences needed to raise a young family, vendor Lila O’young says.

Ms O’young had the Hillview Rd home built three years ago, with the layout a key consideration in its design.

‘‘We had a young family so we needed to design it to have room for everybody,’’ she says.

The home has three bedrooms, with the option for a fourth, and a luxurious master suite, Ms O’young says.

‘‘The main bedroom has an ensuite with a double shower, double vanity, double spa and walk-in robe,’’ she says.

Two of the other bedrooms have built-in wardrobes.

The home has timber flooring and 10-foot ceilings throughout.

The open-plan kitchen and living area is particularly special to Ms O’young.

‘‘I come from a chef’s family so I guess I’m quite particular about the kitchen and having all the modern facilities and convenience,’’ she says. ‘‘The granite bench is great for cooking pastries and for dinner parties. It can be used to lay out all the food for guests.’’

Flowing from the family room is a decked entertaining area with a solar-heated pool, which is an excellent spot for the three young children.

‘‘It’s great to sit out there and read a book – it’s a great spot,’’ Ms O’young says.

She says the home would suit a whole range of buyers.

‘‘It would suit someone with a busy lifestyle because it’s very low-maintenance, or even an older couple with grandchildren – a place for them to lock up and go on holiday,’’ she says.
