Continue south as it turns in to Hackney Rd, and turn right on to Botanic Rd, and on to North Tce. Alternatively, from Park Rd turn right on to Melbourne St, and follow it along Sir Edwin Smith Ave, turning left on to King William Rd. Public transport Adelaide Metro routes 204, 208 and 281 travel along Walkerville Tce, providing access to the city and to Paradise and Northgate. Schools St Andrews School is located on Smith St. Walkerville Primary School is also in the area, on Stephen Tce. St Monica’s Parish School is on North East Rd, and Wilderness School is on Hawkers Rd. For tertiary students, Marden Senior College is on Marden Rd. Typical street features The streets of Gilberton comprise historic, modest, single-storey cottages on small allotments with narrow frontages adjacent the narrow residential streets. The exceptions are the larger Victorian- era villas, bungalows and Tudor dwellings on the more spacious allotments with frontage to Walkerville Tce, Park Tce and Stephen Tce.
