It has a good bedtime storey
With four big bedrooms, it’s ideal for a family, writes Tom Dougherty.
ATWO-STOREY Federation-style home at Glenunga is in a great location and would be perfect for a family, vendor Jenny Adams says.
‘‘It would be good for somebody with three children because there are three big double bedrooms upstairs, all with walk-in robes,’’ she says.
‘‘It could be good for someone with a newborn baby because the study could be converted into a nursery.’’
The home features four bedrooms, with the master bedroom on the ground floor at the back.
It features a walk-in robe and an ensuite with a spa bath, a shower and a double vanity.
‘‘The master is a big room that gets the morning sun coming through it, it is beautiful,’’ Ms Adams says.
The other three bedrooms are upstairs and are serviced by a two-way bathroom with a bath and a shower.
There is also a rumpus room on the top floor and a storeroom.
The ground floor is dominated by an open-plan kitchen and family room.
The kitchen features Fijian cedar cupboards, a gas cooktop and a breakfast bar.
‘‘It is quite a large kitchen, easy to work in and easy to maintain,’’ she says.
There are doors that open out to an alfresco paved area at the back.
Running off the main entrance hallway is a formal loungeroom with a fireplace and a bay window.
There is a dining room adjacent, with french doors that open out to a private courtyard.
‘‘It is great for entertaining with the lounge and dining room, and there is also a cellar in the hallway underneath the stairs,’’ Ms Adams says.
There is also a laundry with external access and a toilet on the ground floor.
At the front of the property is a double garage with panel-lift doors and drive-through access to the backyard.
Located at Glenunga, the home is close to schools, including Seymour College and Linden Park Primary School.
‘‘It is close to Burnside Village and Glenunga International High School, and eastern private schools,’’ she says.
