ASTUNNING Tudor-style home close to a respected school offers an enviable resort lifestyle, says the vendor. The Mercuris bought the home six years ago and say the property’s location was a huge attraction.

‘‘It was on a beautiful tree-lined street amongst other stunning properties and close to Seymour College and we just loved the whole area in general,’’ Mr Mercuri says.

‘‘The street itself and the area of St Georges is a tight-knit place and it’s very quiet.’’

There are four bedrooms, the master with a walk-in and built-in robe and two other bedrooms have built-ins.

‘‘The home has very high ceilings throughout and I understand it was built in the 1930s,’’ Mr Mercuri says.

‘‘The triple-brick walls are an extraordinary feature and enhance the solid feel of the home.’’

The master suite has an ensuite with bath, shower and vanity and the home also has two full bathrooms.

The kitchen is located in the heart of the home and features stainless steel appliances including a wall-mounted oven and microwave, induction cooktop and ample cupboard and benchspace.

Mr Mercuri says it makes entertaining a breeze.

‘‘It’s very practical and is wellproportioned for a family and offers lots of open areas to gather in,’’ he says.

The home features an in-ground swimming pool, tennis court and multiple outdoor entertaining areas.

‘‘It’s a private oasis,’’ Mr Mercuri says. ‘‘The landscape makes it feel like you’re in a park.

‘‘The pool and court have been thoroughly enjoyed and added fun to barbecues and parties.

‘‘The house flows from inside to out and there’s an abundance of areas you can congregate in, whether it’s up in the back section near the gazebo or near the pool to the huge family area or cosier front rooms.

‘‘The lounge has a ceiling height of seven or eight metres and there are large windows all the way round so you can view the backyard a full 180 degrees. I love the sense of peace it gives you when you walk in, it’s just one of those nice homes.

‘‘It would be great for a family and avid entertainers, it can handle a whole array of different workable combinations.’’

The home has covered parking for two cars, ducted reverse-cycle airconditioning throughout, Jarrah floors and marble tiling.
