AHYDE Park villa had charm aplenty for vendor Lorraine Lee when she first saw it in 2007 and when she updated it she included an extension at the back.

‘‘I loved the old-world charm of the home and the beautiful ambience of the area as well,’’ she says.

The home has up to four bedrooms, with the master bedroom located in the middle.

It features two built-in cupboards, a walk-in robe, and an ensuite with a bath and a shower.

‘‘It’s quite a big room and it has got quite a lot of robes, and a very large ensuite; it offers quite a bit for people,’’ she says.

‘‘The rest of the rooms are big... I’m hoping that another family would like to live there.’’

Two of the other bedrooms have built-in robes and ceiling fans, and one also has an ensuite with a shower.

At the front of the home is a loungeroom with a fireplace, which could be used as a bedroom if required.

The kitchen is towards the back of the home and it has white cupboards, stainless steel appliances and a dishwasher.

‘‘It’s a beautiful, good-size kitchen to get around, there’s lots of storage as well,’’ she says.

‘‘And you get a nice outlook to a courtyard with trees and plants, it’s quite pretty.’’

Adjacent to the kitchen is an open-plan family and dining room, with windows along one side that look out to the backyard.

A sliding door in the family room opens out to a covered veranda at the back of the home, which looks on to a lawn area.

‘‘There are uplights I have put on the trees, so at night it gives off a beautiful effect like a resort,’’ she says.

There is also a study at the back, a laundry attached to the side, and a third bathroom with a shower and a toilet. The home also has a carport at the back with side-street access.
