the bath overlooking the beach and it’s very private,’’ Ms Blunt says. ‘‘I’ll really miss the views and the sunsets.
‘‘I love having friends over and just sitting and having a drink and a chat outside and just watching the world go by from the daybed outside.’’
Ms Blunt says one of her favourite features was the front garden, which she designed herself.
‘‘When you look down on it it’s supposed to look like the ocean floor and I’ve used different cacti to look like coral and different grasses to look like seagrass,’’ she says.
Ms Blunt says the home offers a peaceful escape from the world yet is close to the action.
‘‘It’s a beautiful beach and we get lovely sunsets and it’s great to be able to take the dog for a walk and because it’s so close to Glenelg you can just walk to the shops or walk to the marina,’’ she says.
‘‘We go to the beach all the time and then just come home and go in the pool, it’s the best of both worlds.’’
Ms Blunt says, with the home’s numerous entertaining areas and a sixcar garage, it would suit a family with teenaged children.
