MAKEOVER

The Advertiser - SA Weekend - - COVER -

INGLOT Cosmetics is my favourite make-up shop, and there’s a reason I’ve been going back for five years.

Not only are the girls – all trained make-up artists – super friendly, they’re professional, make you feel special and you know you’re getting top-quality products applied to your skin. You also get to redeem the cost of the treatment in Inglot products – $70 for the makeover plus a $10 application fee if you’re having false lashes applied.

I needed my make-up done for an event recently, so Inglot was my first choice. When you first enter Inglot, it looks like a standard make-up retail store, but there are three chairs up the back of the store with big mirrors and lights (think Hollywood vanity mirror).

My make-up artist was Myra. She got to work, asking me questions about my outfit, how I wanted my make-up done and what the event was for. I trust the girls at Inglot, so I usually let them pick what they think will look good on me. I ended up with a natural smoky eye and bright pink lip to go with my black and white dress.

Inglot is a retail store, so the girls do have to serve customers from time to time. Although it can be annoying, all is forgiven when you get an amazing end result.

Now, to planning my next excuse, I mean event, to have a makeover. THE TREATMENT Makeover $70 plus $10 for eyelash application (about 1 hour) WHERE Shop 127, Rundle Mall, Adelaide, 0434 365 814, inglotaustralia.com
