A bit of personal background, please ... Grew up in the Adelaide Hills and studied oenology at Adelaide University, then continued working in SA; making wines from mainly Langhorne Creek, Padthaway and McLaren Vale. Have also worked vintages in the Sonoma Valley (US), Languedoc in France, Rheinhessen and Pfalz in Germany and Ribera del Duero in Spain. Do you remember the first wine you tasted? What’s the first wine you made or helped make? What did you drink with dinner last night? A recommendation please – a wine to drink with … lamb casserole?

Grilled ribeye?

Roast chicken?

Grilled salmon?

Special wine to share with friends?

And something for the cellar? Dream wine that you’d like to taste just once?

Favourite wine list at a restaurant in SA? Favourite wine place to visit outside your own region? Finally how about a cleanser? 8 Wired Tall Poppy IRA (NZ) is a favourite ... also like to go to the Wheaty and try something new.
