Cutest good luck twin pack
EMMA Dobbin is hoping her twin baby boys are a good omen for an Adelaide Crows victory today.
If Jack and Connor do prove talismans, Emma and partner Matt Ey, 26, will have a lasting record, having commissioned professional pictures of them in Crows gear only a fortnight ago.
“I think they’ve only lost one game since they were born,’’ said Emma, 27, a lifelong Crows supporter.
Indeed, the twins were born on August 20, just two days after Adelaide’s three-point loss to Sydney. Since then, the Crows have lost only to West Coast, in the final minor-round game. The twins are the couple’s first children and they originally organised the picture as a Christmas present for Emma’s mother, Anthea, also a Crows fan.
“We have both barracked for the Crows ever since we can remember,” Emma said.
“My family are crazy Crows fans, so I grew up with them being a big part of our life.
“My parents are even driving to Melbourne without tickets. They’re going to go and sit outside the stadium. All of my family have been trying desperately to get them tickets.”
Emma and Matt haven’t yet decided where they will watch today’s grand final but they are confident of the outcome.
“Most likely (we will watch the game) with another family with a young baby, who are Port fans, which will make it even more enjoyable when we win,” Emma laughed.
TOO CUTE: Emma Dobbin and Matt Ey’s five-week-old twins Jack and Connor.
