Clash of titans

The Advertiser - - LETTERS -

REECE Homfray in Melbourne has caught the fantasy well. Today there will be hordes of Adelaide Crows supporters settled in “enemy territory” occupied by the “Tiger Army” to watch a mighty clash of titans — a struggle between good ( The Crows) and evil (Richmond) — at the MCG.

Alas, when that is all over, we will all have to return to the awful reality of the world today — a world threatening, at worst, another economic collapse and a third world war.

But for now — who cares? All that matters today is that the glorious Crows defeat the evil forces of Tiger Land. TERRY HEWTON, Henley

Beach South. lightfully counter-productive result (The Advertiser, 29/9/17). Well done Cory. Midas touch. Now create a Crows Grand Final victory, please. NEIL LONGBOTTOM, Minlaton.

Labor have taken politics to its lowest ever level and from which it will take generations to recover. Thanks boys.

CHRIS JAY, Hackney.
