A STORM shat­tered win­dows, downed trees and caused flash flood­ing across the state yes­ter­day, with the Ade­laide Hills hard­est hit.

SES re­sponded to at least 100 calls for help as wind gusts brought down trees in the Mt Lofty Ranges district.

Around Ade­laide, the wild weather whipped up pow­er­ful tidal surges along the coast­line and caused flood­ing at Mor­phett Vale, Aber­foyle Park, Bed­ford Park and Aldgate.
