ON SATUR­DAY morn­ing at Tor­rens Pa­rade Ground, His Ex­cel­lency the Gover­nor ad­dressed the guests at the Chi­nese Wel­fare Ser­vices of South Aus­tralia’s an­nual gen­eral meet­ing and Moon Lan­tern Fes­ti­val cel­e­bra­tion.

Af­ter­wards the Gover­nor placed a wreath at the Bat­tle of Bri­tain com­mem­o­ra­tion ser­vice hosted by the Royal Aus­tralian Air Force.

In the af­ter­noon at Keyne­ton, the Gover­nor ad­dressed the guests at the Hen­schke Wines 150 Years of Fam­ily Wine­mak­ing event. On Sun­day morn­ing the Gover­nor and Mrs Le de­parted for a re­gional visit to Loxton.

In the af­ter­noon at the Loxton RSL Hall and Bowls Club, the Gover­nor, ac- com­panied by Mrs Le, un­veiled a plaque and of­fi­cially opened the Loxton RSL and Dis­tricts Me­mo­rial Room, and later at Bookpurnong, the Gover­nor and Mrs Le met with mem­bers of the Pil­grims of Zion Church. In the evening at Loxton Ho­tel, the Gover­nor and Mrs Le hosted His Wor­ship the Mayor of the Dis­trict Coun­cil of Loxton Waik­erie, Mr Leon Stasi­nowsky and Mrs Lynette Stasi­nowsky; Mr Robert Man­ual, pres­i­dent, Loxton Re­turned and Ser­vices League SubBranch and Mrs Aileen Manuel; and Mr Ken Sch­warz and Mrs Daphne Sch­warz.

The Gover­nor has ap­pointed Pro­fes­sor Brenda Wil­son to be Gover­nor’s Deputy from Sun­day, Septem­ber 16 un­til Mon­day, Septem­ber 17.
