COMMUNITY support is growing for WA’s first eco designer runway show to address sustainability in November.

Eco Fashion Week Australia (EFWA) 2017 will feature only sustainable, ethical and locally produced fashion from both international and national designers.

The Fremantle event aims to ignite, inspire and challenge all perspectives in fashion and will present only the most creative, artistic and beautifully sustainable designs.

“This is crucial considering that the fashion industry is one of the largest polluters worldwide, not to mention one of the least ethical,” EFWA founder Zuhal Kuvan-Mills said.

EFWA 2017 will host textile art exhibition titled Eco ECHO at the Midland Junction Art Centre from November 20 to 27,

Taylors Art and Coffee House will also host EFWA 2017 community workshops from November 23 to 26.

EFWA’s free public eco seminars presented by industry experts will be held at Curtin University on November 25.
