$200m boost for Tas schools

FED­ERAL Gov­ern­ment fund­ing un­der the new Gon­ski 2.0 pack­age will de­liver an ad­di­tional $200 mil­lion for Tas­ma­nian Gov­ern­ment schools over the next 10 years.

The news was wel­comed by Tas­ma­nia Ed­u­ca­tion min­is­ter Jeremy Rock­liff who said the fund­ing would pro­vide greater cer­tainty for the State.

“This is real money – costed and funded,” Mr Rock­liff said.
