Array expands Australia portfolio

The Australian Energy Review - - NEWS: RENEWABLE ENERGY -

GLOBAL solar tracking provider Array Technologies has announced it will install 586 megawatts (MW) of new solar trackers across six projects in Australia scheduled for commercial operation in 2018.

The Duratrack HZ v3 trackers will be installed at the Ross River, Whitsunday, Hamilton, Daydream and Hayman solar projects in QLD, and Gannawarra solar project in Victoria.

“Australia is an important market for Array’s global business strategy,” Array Technologies founder and chief executive Ron Corio said.

“Given the fast trajectory of this market, it is critical that in the design process, developers fully understand the long term cost and performance implications of their equipment selection.”
