Co­coa and ca­cao pow­der – the dif­fer­ence be­tween the two is more than just a cou­ple of let­ters! While they both come from the ca­cao bean, co­coa, un­like ca­cao, has been roasted be­fore it’s pow­dered. While both high in nu­tri­tional value un­like your block of milk cho­co­late, BTW – by def­i­ni­tion, ca­cao is less re­fined and packs more good­ies than the more pro­cessed co­coa.
