Queen’s baton

The Queen launched the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games baton relay at Buckingham Palace by placing her message to athletes in the baton. The Queen presented it to Olympian Anna Meares, who says, “I can’t believe I was that close to Her Majesty.” Queensland pop sensation Cody Simpson then drove the baton in his Kombi down The Mall.
