WHO PAYS FOR PRINCE HARRY?
Prince Harry’s life is mostly funded by the Prince of Wales, from Prince Charles’ personal income from the Duchy of Cornwall estate, which pays for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s and Prince Harry’s private office, private expenditure, most of their engagements and charitable work. Harry also inherited around
£10 million (A$16 million) on his 30th birthday, left to him from his mother, Diana, Princess of Wales’ estate. The only British taxpayers’ money Prince Harry and other royals receive is for overseas tours undertaken on behalf of the government, for their royal protection officers and for maintenance of occupied royal palaces.
